What: Challenge involving Several Groups
When: December 18, 2010 (After the Christmas Revelry)
Where: Abellaña Street & SM City Cebu
Recommended amount to bring by each participant: At least Php50.00 to Php100.00

Message:
Challenge involving several young personalities will be conducted on this 18th Day of December 2010 to make better rapport amid candumanians. The Challenge will compose of Teams and each team will make up at least 10 members. Team Leaders are liable to the safety of there members while the Event Organizers are liable to the safety of there staff.

BC, Tropang Kabataan, CCC Clan, Group Akerz and other groups as well as friends being invited by the Event Organizers are the only groups being permitted to join otherwise you will be drafted to the Event Staff. Event Staff will be spread as early as possible because the Challenge will start at exactly 9:30 AM.

Task 1: The Team Leader should grab the Team Guide first from the 1st Representative.
Task 2: The Team Leader should start the challenge at exactly 9:30 AM together with his/her Team Members.
Task 3: The Team should find there 4 Placards being placed at different stores. (Note: The team can know the particular stores by reading the Team Guide. Hence, they are assigned to different stores.)
Task 4: When the Task 3 is being fulfilled, 4 Placards should be passed to the 2nd Representative.
Task 5: After the Task 4, the team should start their travel arriving SM City Cebu.
Task 6: Observe at least 5 situations in the Team Carrier (Either Jeep or Taxi).
Task 7: When arrived at SM City Cebu, follow the Team Guide and proceed to the next.
Task 8 to Task ***: Hush-Hush (only for the participants)
(Further Tasks will be given personally by the Event Organizers to the participants.)

To Eskina Canduman: Php6.00
To SM City Cebu: Php10.00
Total (Back and Forth): Php32.00

(The remaining money is up to you.) Basta. We will enter the Bibo’s Fun to try the Jamboree and other Bibo’s Fun but it’s up to you and we will be having a break time at SM City Cebu (Either Jolibee or others) as well as SM Shopping either (Department or National Book Store).

September 8, 2010- The Barkadahang Candumanians is being scattered to several houses and join the candumanians to celebrate the birth of Mother Mary. Some members tried to focus the game at BINGO but sadly, the pocket money of the Group Chairman and other members had come to last without any additional extent.
September 12, 2010- Day out at Green Lagoon Resort of Compostela, Cebu was conducted.
September 2010- Tropang ICT was formed.
September 2010- Other groups reported that they conducted reunions.
October 22, 2010- Group members haggled together to support the second Ms. & Mr. Earth at CNHS being conducted by the AP Department of CNHS. The members can support the particular event just through attending for it.
October 23, 2010 – November 2, 2010- Total reformation was being conducted here and there by every body of the group.
November 2010- Official Web Page was redesign.
November 12, 2010- Kabataang Pinoy proposed a challenge by means of Day Trip to Metro Cebu that will include the major places such malls, parks and church. The proposed aims to let the members be familiarized the route towards major places.
November 13, 2010- United Candumanians was destroyed to let the Group Barkadahang Candumanians to have more focus at regular members.
November 15, 2010- First Sinking Fund Program was launched.
November 20, 2010- United Candumanians was created as a union of several candumanian groups.
November 22, 2010- UNC 2010 Christmas Gathering was planned to acknowledge the suggestion of Kabataang Pinoy.
November, 2010- Group called a meeting together with the group friends to discuss the UNC 2010 Christmas Gathering.
November 26, 2010- The Kabataang Pinoy attended the comfortable gathering of Christine Rea Husain being conducted at a place close to the Nativity Mary Parish. Attendees are chosen.
November 27, 2010- The Kabataang Pinoy became a special visitors to the Felipe’s Family of Santo Niño Church, Casili, Consolacion.

•Group Barkadahang Candumanians to lead the UNC 2010 Christmas Gathering•


“United Candumanians” refers to the relationships of the Group Barkadahang Candumanians. Thus, any group being associated with the biggest candumanian community in facebook is included to this topic. “United Candumanians” is not a group but it is the term used by the Candumanians to describe the friendships of a particular group. In fact, other groups are quite using this term.

Last month, the Barkadahang Candumanians, a local group of students, had decided to conduct a particular Christmas reunion. Later, the group Barkadahang Candumanians updated the following sections being separated. The following are the sections being updated by the Group Barkadahang Candumanians;
1. III-Perseverance (Kabataang Pinoy ng Barkadahang Candumanians)
2. ICT-A (Tropang ICT ng Barkadahang Candumanians)
3. Barkadahang Candumanians Clan
4. III-Serenity
5. II-Faith
6. III-Charity
7. III-Honesty
8. III-Hope
9. III-Compassionate

The Group Barkadahang Candumanians had created choices for this event. The following are the options where the event possibly happen;
1. Blue Reef. Blue Reef is located at Lapu-Lapu City besides Ocean Pearl. It is mainly one hour along the way before we can reach it. Blue Reef contains Cottage, Videoke TV and Swimming Areas. At this site, we need an amount about Php110.00 to Php150.00.
2. Ocean Pearl. Ocean Pearl is located at Lapu-Lapu City besides Blue Reef. It is mainly one hour en route before we can reach it. As far as we notice, possibly Ocean Pearl is better than Blue Reef but this is only our view for it. Ocean Pearl has Videoke TV, Swimming Areas, Slides, Small Cottages and Big Cottages. At this site, we need an amount about Php110.00 to Php150.00 to conduct our celebration perfectly. Another one, as you notice that our expenditures for Blue Reef and Ocean Pearl is almost the same.
3. Greenville. Greenville is located at Casili, Consolacion, a place next to Cubacub, Mandaue City. Their swimming pool is in the good location based on the view, calmness and things we’ve notice. The entrance of Greenville Heights is free but using their pool is another topic which you should pay Php50.00 first. The Greenville Heights is fairly enough to be the place under the proceedings of our event.
4. Challenge. We know that you are now familiar with the word Challenge. This fourth suggestion coming from II-Faith and III-Perseverance are entirely interesting that can grab our attention. This choice may required an amount about Php100.00 to Php150.00. The sequence/rules of the choice Challenge maybe like this;
a. The Group or participants must be separated into team with 4 members each team. Then after separating, members must assigned a particular leader, photographer, money holder and adviser. The Team Leader is also requested to get the team guide from the 1st Event Observer.
b. The event will start through finding there 3 placards of their particular team. Placards are being positioned along with the selected stores in Abellaña Street. Placards are being sorted by the team colors.
c. Accomplished team will find Nicko Dela Peña, the 4rt Event Observer, who is being waiting at Tintay, to pass there Placards,
d. After passing the placards, the accomplished team will have to take a jeep immediately. Photographer should take at least 10 pictures inside the jeep.
e. Each group will have to arrive at Santo Niño Church to attend a mass.
f. After attending the mass, all teams will have to hang in Magellan’s Cross and take 10 pictures.
g. After staying in Magellan’s Cross, all teams will have to break to proceed to Carbon and take 10 pictures.
h. After taking pictures. Each team will have to take a jeep again to proceed to SM Cebu and all teams must be met there to take a break time or snack.
i. After taking snack. The entire staff will have to break again to let each team to have there own memories. Memories refer to SM Trip or SM Shopping by team.
j. After the SM Trip and SM Shopping, the entire staff will have to met outside SM that is facing to MACRO for the closing remarks of each team leader and picture taking for the whole staff.
k. After the closing remarks and picture taking for the whole staff, the whole staff will have to go home jointly.
l. After we arrived at home at exactly 5 PM, the event organizers of the UNC 2010 Christmas Gathering will have to call the Photographers to submit there photos being collected. The event organizers will have to upload the photos as soon as possible. After the event day, every participant who cooperated the event will have to pass his/her summary of the UNC 2010 Christmas Gathering being held at Cebu City.
5. T-shirt. The management of the group Barkadahang Candumanians wanted at least 20 persons to make our own T-shirts. To print one t-shirt will cost Php30.00 to Php50.00 but you need to provide your own t-shirt. If you wanted to purchase then see to any of the group heads.

We call for a meeting this November 26, 2010. Meeting will be conducted at Canduman Gym. The following beings are requested to be present;
1. the 40 major administrators

3. Founder of the Universal Candumanians Clan
4. Founder of the Certified Cute Clan

Absent beings will be the topic this November 28, 2010 at the Barkadahang Candumanians, Akerz Mobstah and other Chat Boxes in Facebook. Inactive beings should be eradicated in group. INFORMED OTHERS even we already informed them personally!

To the Sinking Fund Representatives: Please submit the money until this November 28, 2010. Sinking Fund should be under the control of the Group Chairman, Business Manager or Executive Treasurer.

First Ever Sinking Fund Program

Hey members of the group Barkadahang Candumanians and group friends. The today’s biggest candumanian facebook community is inviting you to contribute the first ever Sinking Fund Program being launched by the Kabataang Pinoy ng Barkadahang Candumanians last week. This program will assist you to increase your saving. The Sinking Fund program will end on December 14, 2010. The minimum contribution per day is Php5.00. Each member are requested to contribute Php100.00 at the end.

On the 15th day of December 2010, the Executive Treasurer of the Group Barkadahang Candumanians will return your money. The Executive Treasurer of the group is Charlene Mendoza of III-Charity.

Discussion: The suggestions
The next event being proposed by a second year student. “After the day of our Christmas Party in School. The Group will have to conduct a challenge by means of Day Trip to Metro Cebu. The Trip will have to include the following sequences; first Trip to Santo Niño Church, second Trip to Magellan’s Cross, third Trip to Carbon, fourth Trip to SM and fifth Trip to Park Mall. Php100.00 is enough because we only have to be paid the transportation and the fact that Santo Niño Church, Carbon and Magellan’s Cross are incredibly close. (This is the Choice A)

On the other side proposed by me, the group will have to conduct a day out to Greenville Heights after the day of our Christmas Party. The entrance is only Php50.00 and the other Php50.00 will be used up for our food and drinks. (This is the Choice B)

CITE launches IT training in public high schools

THE Center for Industrial Technology and Enterprise (CITE), through its student club Xyberguild, launched a simultaneous computer training in four public schools on Aug. 14.

The schools that benefited from the training that ran for three Saturdays included Abellana National School, Cabancalan National High School, Canduman National High School and Mactan National High School.

Members of the club were assigned in each school to discuss topics on computer hardware and servicing, basic web designing, networking and photo editing.

In Abellana National High School, about 85 students and 15 teachers benefited from the training on computer hardware and servicing.

They were also taught hands-on on how to assemble and disassemble a computer.

In Canduman National High School, 10 members of the club conducted training in HTML (Hypertext Mark-up Language) applications to 30 participants composed of third year and fourth year students.

Also, around 35 students of Mactan National High School were chosen to participate in the training on web designing using HTML codes and cascading style sheets application.

In Talamban National High School, 15 teachers and students received training on webpage design using image editing software. Though the participants found the topic quite difficult because of its novelty, they felt rewarded after completing the practical exercises.

At the end of the training, the participants received their certificate from Xyberguild.
